You can now use your mobile phone to pay for fuel at Esso. It's a convenient and secure payment option, in addition to benefiting from the DeutschlandCard bonus program. Here are key details about the app: You can pay for fuel via your mobile phone at selected Esso stations, with more locations set to be included in the future. Currently, PayPal is offered as a payment method, with additional payment options to be integrated gradually. Linking your DeutschlandCard membership to the app enables you to earn points automatically when making payments using the app. You can configure the app at home and utilize it upon arrival at the station. During setup, you will establish a maximum amount for refueling; this serves as an upper limit that the pump will halt at. The designated maximum amount will be temporarily held in your account, yet you will only be charged for the fuel quantity you actually pump. The maximum sum can range from 5 to 140€. All receipts are retained within the app, with the option to receive them via email if desired. The app also enables you to locate the nearest Esso station.
